Angel Méndez, M.D.

Dr. Mendez has been in practice for over 30 years. He graduated from Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic in 1983. He completed his internal medicine training in Ponce Regional Hospital in Puerto Rico where he served as Chief Medical Resident. After moving to Miami in 1989, he worked in several local HMOs, working as a physician and sharing his medical duties with several administrative positions as Medical Director and/or Chief Medical Officer. He was Medical Director for Wellmax from 2008 to 2013. He has been working for Wellmax since 2001.
