Dr. Rodriguez-Aragon received her degree in 2002 from Faculty of Medical Sciences Dr. Jose Asseff Yara Ciego de Avila, Cuba, where she also completed her family medicine residency training in 2007. She moved to the United States and completed an additional residency in family medicine at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
